Sherco 3.2 4T

3.2

Sherco's first effort at a four-stroke powered trials machine, the 3.2, utilizes a motor fully developed by the company itself, and is a remarkable effort. Realizing that a 250cc four-stroke motor might not provide the overall power that top-level trials requires, Sherco engineers looked for a displacement that would allow smooth four-stroke power to be maintained, while still achieving the overall power of a similarly sized two-stroke motor. Adding 50cc to the standard 272cc motor of the 2.9 2T, Sherco was able to reach this objective. The first year's effort in 2004 had some slight teething problems, but the company quickly rectified them and now the bike is used in World Trials Competition by top Sherco rider Albert Cabestany.

Like the 2T models, the 3.2 also features Ceriani forks, a switchable, dual-mapped ignition, and updated rear schock settings to provide a more lively response.
