History
This marks the third year for the 4RT, first introduced in 2005. Well tested and developed with
using former World Trials Championship rider Amos Bilbao, the 4RT maintains the high quality
standards set by its predecessor, the 2-stroke powered 315R.
Notable among the accomplishments evident in the 4RT include the first use of Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) on a trials motorcycle, a weight comparable to its 2-stroke powered predecessor, as well as slimmer bodywork, and a Honda CRF-250R-based motor, jointly designed with Honda, and made smaller and lighter, with power optimized for trials usage.
Since its release, the bike has featured only incremental changes. Perhaps the most important of note were changes last year to smooth out the clutch actuation. That's pretty much it. The years of development have paid off in producing a reliable, well-performing mount.
So, it should come as no surprise that the 2007 machine has only slight modifications:
