Beta is a comparatively small motorcycle manufacturer from Florence, Italy. For a number of years they campaigned on the World Trials Championship trail with the legendary Jordi Tarres, and made a name for themselves by releasing successive generations of innovative trials machinery. In the mid-1990's Dougie Lampkin and Ken-ichi Kuroyama began their assault at the top of World Trials with the superlative Techno Series, winning the balance of the World Indoor and Outdoor Trials Championships in the latter half of the decade.
In 2000, the REV-3 series continued this tradition by offering top level performance matched by the highest quality materials and build processes. The Verlicchi aluminum frames are works-of-art, mated up to a sophisticated Paoli non-linkage rear suspension. The REV platform is known for both its tight turning radius and straight-line stability. The series progressed in 2003 by a enjoying a weight-savings program which dropped almost nine pounds from the bike, front suspension upgrades, and finally the recent fitting of the Keihin carburetor.
This year marks the debut of Beta's four-stroke trials offering, the REV-4T 250, and its special racing edition brother, the 300 4T Racing.
