We started the shop in 1998 in Garden Valley, Idaho selling a number of Beta Technos and Alps over the next year. Our
customers also were interested in the models available from the other manufacturers, and so we began to carry Montesa,
Sherco, Gas Gas and Scorpa. The idea behind this was to offer a selection so that someone interested in trials could
choose the motorcycle which best fit them and also that it is just cool to be able to see all the different bikes.
Some years ago, we were able to move the shop down to the city (an experience in itself) to a location more convenient for our customers and
provide a place so that people wanting to learn more about trials could go to see both new and used bikes, watch videos,
visit with trials enthusiasts, and ride around on a trials bike themselves for a bit to see why trials is so much fun.
Our goal is to provide the best service possible at the best possible price--one that provides a good deal for our customers
while allowing us to make a fair profit for the business so we can keep it going. Over the years we've been able to gain
quite a bit of knowledge about the various bikes through both personal experience and that of our customers. Do we know
everything? Obviously not, but if we don't know the answer, we'll tell you, rather than give you some BS answer that
in the end does nothing but waste time, money, and cause frustration. Moreover, we probably know somebody who does
know the answer, and we'll visit with them a bit to find out.
As our population is relatively small, the parts and accessories orders we get from our customers across the country and abroad have really helped
us to continue to offer our products and service to our growing base of local customers. We are very appreciative of both
our local and long distance customers. Having stated that, if you have a local dealer which is enthusiastic about trials, please make the attempt
to support their business. Trials is tiny sport in the U.S. Your support can help keep a shop going so that they
can continue to promote trials in your area. If you don't know of a dealer in your area, you can check with any of the trials importers
or contact me and I can find out for you.
Want to learn more about trials in our area? Contact us to learn about the trials scene and get
plugged into when we're riding, our meet schedule, and about trials in general.
Thanks much for your patronage,
